Creative Direction, Storytelling & Visitor Experience

I supported the design of a cohesive visitor experience across digital and physical touchpoints for a large-scale cultural and spiritual space, Swaminarayan Akshardham. I worked with multidisciplinary teams to shape narrative content, audience engagement, and cohesive visual experiences across digital, social, and on-site environments.

UX Approach: While this project sits outside of traditional product UX, it reflects how I approach experience design at scale. I focused on how a wide range of visitors would access, understand, and move through information across both digital and physical environments, ensuring the experience felt clear, cohesive, and welcoming at every touchpoint.

ROLE & CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Led design direction across branding, communications, and visitor-facing materials

  • Coordinated cross-functional teams to align messaging and execution

  • Structured and simplified content to improve clarity and usability

  • Ensured consistency across all touchpoints, from digital to physical environments

Users & Considerations

This experience was designed for a diverse audience, including:

  • First-time visitors unfamiliar with the space

  • Families and large groups

  • International visitors with varying cultural and language backgrounds

  • Volunteers and staff supporting the experience

Design decisions prioritized clarity, accessibility, and ease of navigation for all users, regardless of familiarity.
